Alwar
Tourism Once an ancient Rajput state, formerly known as Mewat, Alwar
was nearest to the imperial Delhi. The people of the state did not accept any
external interferences and daringly resisted against foreign invasions.
In the 12th and 13th centuries, they formed a group and raded Delhi. But finally
Sultan Bulban (1267 A.D - 1287 A.D) suppressed them, bringing the area under the
Muslims rule

Chittorgarh

Jodhpur
Tourism Jodhpur was founded in the year 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha, who
was part of the Rathore clan and is claimed to be a descendent of Lord Rama. He

To strengthen his foothold he built a fortress to which additions were done by

Dharamshala
Tourism Dharamshala is the district hqr. of Kangra district. This is
a hill station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar range about 18kms. north east
of Kangra town. Hill station is wooded with oak and conifer trees and snow capped
mountains enfold three sides of the town while the valley stretches in front.
The snow line is perhaps more easily accessible at Dharamshala than at any other
hill resort and it is possible to trek to snow point after an early morning's
start.
